Our story

How we started the routes

I started this company in 2017 with just fourteen yards in Centennial Hills and Summerlin. Back then, I scooped every property myself working out of a hatchback. I wanted to build a dependable company that simply did what it promised.

My goal was to create a service that respected property boundaries, communicated clearly with homeowners and treated the dogs well while we were in their space.

We run six marked route vehicles with a full team, but I am still out on the routes every week checking gates and working alongside our technicians.

Why a clean yard matters to me

I share my home with Pepper, a cattle dog mix, and Biscuit, a senior beagle. Being a dog owner in Las Vegas means knowing how uncomfortable the backyard gets when summer temperatures rise.

Having a clear lawn means they have a safe place to play without tracking mess into the house. I run this business to give other local families that same usable outdoor space.

Our standard for service

Every technician on our team follows the same strict procedures to keep your pets safe and your property secure while we work.

  • Gate latched and photographed

We pull your side gate shut, test the latch and send you a photo so you know the yard is secure.

  • The completion text

You receive a message as soon as the visit is finished, so you know when the dogs can go back outside.

  • Sanitized tools

We spray all our equipment and footwear with a kennel-grade disinfectant before opening your gate.

  • Route texts

Our system sends a text when the truck is heading to your neighborhood, letting you know we are on the way.

  • The re-scoop promise

If we miss a spot, report it with a photo within twenty-four hours. We return free within two business days.

Growing our local routes

We built this company one yard at a time, moving from a single hatchback to six marked vehicles covering the valley.

  1. Starting out in 2017

Quail Scoop begins with fourteen residential yards in the northwest valley.

  2. Growing the routes

Word of mouth spreads, and we expand our service boundaries to cover more neighborhoods.

  3. The first van

We add our first van to handle the growing route schedule.

  4. Adding customer care

Our customer care coordinator joins the team to manage scheduling and text updates.

  5. Our current routes

We serve 14 communities across the valley, with about 1,400 yards on active recurring routes.

In the community

Supporting local dogs

We proudly sponsor adoption days with a Las Vegas dog rescue to help shelter pets find their permanent homes. Our team also provides a free monthly cleanup at a senior community dog run in Henderson to keep the space clean for older residents and their pets.

To thank those who serve our country and our city, we offer a ten percent discount on every visit for veterans, active military and first responders with valid ID.
