Accessibility statement.

We believe a website should be usable by everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use.

Our accessibility goals

Vegas Website Designs built this demonstration website with accessibility in mind. Our target for this project is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level. While we do not claim full compliance at all times, we actively integrate accessible practices into our design and development process.

To make sure this site is usable for as many people as possible, we have implemented several key features:

  • Logical structure: We use clear, sequential HTML headings to allow screen readers to navigate the content logically.
  • Alternative text: Meaningful images include descriptive alt text so users with visual impairments understand the visual context.
  • Keyboard navigation: The site can be navigated entirely using a keyboard, verifying all interactive elements are reachable without a mouse.
  • Visible focus: We maintain clear focus indicators so keyboard users always know where they are on the page.
  • Color contrast: We select color palettes that meet strict contrast ratios, making text readable for users with low vision or color blindness.
  • Accessible forms: All forms include clear, persistent labels and error messages so users know what information is required.
  • Controlled motion: We avoid auto-playing video or aggressive animations that cannot be easily paused or stopped by the user.

Because this is a demonstration site built by Vegas Website Designs, Quail Scoop is not a real business. However, we still want to know if you encounter any barriers while exploring this project. If you find a problem, please email us at hello@quail.vwddemos.com or call our demonstration number at (702) 000-0000. We will use your feedback to improve our development practices.
