Work outside, keep yards clean.
We are looking for reliable route technicians and office staff to join our team of nine handling pet waste removal across the Las Vegas valley.
- Route technician and office roles
- W-2 employees, no contractors
- Monday to Saturday routes
Why work with us
We run a straightforward business built on showing up and doing the job right.
Outdoors, early starts
Work outside independently, with 6 AM start times in the summer to beat the heat.
A marked route vehicle
You drive one of our six marked route vehicles, not your personal car.
A small team of nine
Work with a small, close-knit local team where the owner still runs routes.
Paid training ride-along
Learn the job correctly during a two-week ride-along with a senior technician.
A fixed route
Manage your own consistent set of neighborhoods and commercial properties.
Dogs every day
Interact with friendly dogs in the yards you clean on a daily basis.
What we require
The basic standards every technician must meet before they can take a route.
Valid driver licence
You must have a valid driver licence and a clean driving record to operate our vehicles.
Background check
Every employee must pass a background check before they can access client properties.
Comfortable with dogs
You must be comfortable working in yards where friendly dogs are present.
Summer heat
You must be physically capable of working outside during the intense Las Vegas summer.
Reliable
Our clients expect us on a specific day; you must be consistently on time.
A smartphone
You need a smartphone to receive your route list, send texts and take gate photos.
How we hire
Our process for bringing new technicians onto the team.
Apply
Submit your application form detailing your work history and comfort with animals.
A call

From the Quail Scoop team
Hear what it is like to work on the routes and in the office.
“I love working independently. Once I leave the office in the morning, it is just me, the truck and my route. Starting at 6 AM in the summer is tough at first, but it beats being out in the afternoon.”
David M.
“The two-week training ride-along was crucial. It taught me how to handle locked gates and how to walk the rock yards properly without making a mess.”
Sarah T.
“Managing the schedule for six trucks across the valley is a puzzle I enjoy solving. We have a great small team that actually communicates when they are out in the field.”
Dana W.

A day on the route
What a typical summer shift looks like for a technician.

Common hiring questions
Details on the hours, the physical demands and the vehicles.
Call (702) 000-0000All questionsDo I need my own truck?
No. We provide the marked route vehicles (small pickups and a van), the tools, the bags and the uniform.
What hours will I work?
Routes run Monday through Saturday. Shifts typically start at 7 AM, but shift to 6 AM from June to September to beat the extreme heat.
Is the work physically demanding?
Yes. You will be walking constantly, bending over frequently and carrying bags of waste in the Las Vegas climate.
Do I have to use my own phone?
Yes, you need a smartphone to access your route list, send the automated texts and take photos of the gates.
What happens if a dog is aggressive?
Safety comes first. If an anxious or protective dog is loose in the yard, you do not enter. It counts as a completed visit and you leave a door hanger.
Are you hiring contractors?
No. We only hire W-2 employees for our team of nine. We do not use independent contractors.
