Holiday routes and skips

We operate our routes efficiently, but we adjust the schedule for major holidays and make it easy to skip a week when you need to.

When you sign up for a recurring pet waste removal plan, you are assigned a fixed route day, Monday through Saturday, and a morning or afternoon arrival window. This predictability is what makes the service valuable. However, there are times when that regular schedule needs to shift, either because of a major holiday or because you simply do not need the yard cleaned that week.

The holiday schedule

To give our technicians time with their own families, we do not run residential or commercial routes on three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

If your assigned route day happens to fall on one of these holidays, your service is not cancelled, nor do we try to squeeze your visit into an already packed schedule the day before. Instead, your visit simply shifts to your next regularly scheduled route day.

For example, if you are on a weekly Wednesday route and Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday, your yard will not be serviced that week. The technician will return on the following Wednesday.

How to request a skip

There are plenty of reasons you might not need us on your route day. Perhaps you thoroughly cleaned the yard yourself for a party, or maybe your dogs have been indoors all week due to extreme Las Vegas heat and there is simply no accumulation.

We make skipping a visit straightforward, but we require advance notice so we can adjust our driving routes efficiently. If you need to skip a visit, you must notify us by text or email before 5 PM the day before your scheduled route day.

How skipped visits affect billing

When you request a skip with the proper notice (before 5 PM the day prior), we will credit the cost of that single visit to your next monthly bill. Because we bill on the first of every month for the upcoming cycle, you will see the credit applied to the following month’s invoice.

It is important to understand the difference between a requested skip and a missed visit due to access issues. If our technician drives to your house on your route day and cannot service the yard because the gate is locked without a code, or because a protective dog was left unsecured outside, that counts as a completed visit. The technician used their scheduled time, so you will receive a door hanger and a text message, but the visit will not be credited to your account.

By communicating your schedule changes early, you help us keep the routes efficient and make sure your billing is always accurate.
